Smarter cooks.
From the pit to
any screen, anywhere.

Plug a Pi 5 into your pit. It streams your probe data to SmokeStack's cloud where the AI advisor, prediction database, recipe library, and 3am alerts do the heavy lifting. Watch + plan from your phone in the yard, your laptop at work, your tablet on the couch.

What it does

Built for people who actually use it.

📡

Pi at the pit, web everywhere

The Pi 5 talks to your Bluetooth probes and streams readings up. Open the dashboard on your phone, laptop, or tablet — readings land within seconds on whichever device you're holding.

🤖

AI pitmaster, hosted

An LLM running on our cloud, fed deterministic facts computed from your live readings — phase classification, ETAs, stall detection, post-cook debrief. Never hallucinates because the math runs in code first.

📊

Predictions that learn

Every cook logged sharpens the per-meat-type baselines — yours and the community's. Median + p25/p75 from real similar cooks, not generic time-per-pound math.

🔔

3am alerts, any device

Browser push fires on every device you've enabled — phone, laptop, tablet. Pit drift, probe disconnect, low battery. The savior for overnight cooks.

📋

Community recipe library

Browse and fork pitmaster recipes. Bind one to your cook and the phase progress bar fills as tip temp crosses each target. Wrap, spritz, lid-open annotations land on the chart.

🥩

Cook history, accessible anywhere

Every cook archived in your account with ratings (tender/smoke/bark/moisture/overall), AI debrief, CSV/JSON export, 5-axis flavor wheel. Pull up last year's brisket on any device.

How it works

One Pi at the pit. Cloud does the rest.

Bring your own probes (Chef iQ CQ60 supported today, more drivers being added). Plug them into a Raspberry Pi 5 (BLE built-in — no extra hardware), paste your pairing code, and the Pi streams readings to SmokeStack's cloud over a secure WebSocket. Everything else — charts, AI, recipes, alerts — runs server-side and follows you to whichever device you sign in from.
